Dill Sauce

Pairs well with fish and potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/2 cup Greek yoghurt

  • 2–3 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped

  • 1 small garlic clove, grated

  • 1–2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • salt and black pepper

Method:

  • Combine mayonnaise and yoghurt in a bowl and stir until smooth.

  • Add chopped dill, garlic, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard.

  • Season with salt and pepper, then mix well.

Sauce Tartare

Pairs well with fish and potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tbsp finely chopped dill

  • 1 tbsp capers, rinsed and chopped

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • A dash of Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1–2 tsp lemon juice

  • Salt and black pepper

Method:

  • Combine mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, capers, parsley, and dill in a bowl.

  • Stir in Dijon mustard and lemon juice.

  • Season with salt and pepper, adjusting lemon or mustard to taste.
